...the historic Pigeon Forge First Church

You can contribute to our church’s ministry online- without ever having to leave your home. The following link, https://holston-reg.brtapp.com/ChurchOffering, has been set up for you to be able to donate directly to our church. Once you click on the link, you will fill out your name, address, phone, and email. Then, you will select your district (Smoky Mountain) from a drop down menu, and then select our church (First UMC- Pigeon Forge). Finally, you select the amount you would like to give and hit the blue button. This will take you to a screen where you can enter your debit/credit card information. The whole process takes about 1 minute. This option will go away when we resume meeting again, but for now, it is another option for you.

As we look for ways to better engage young adults in worship, we are glad to announce The Forge Community Church on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM in our Fellowship Hall. Worship is a bit different for what is customary for most of us- but will be in the style of a "Coffee House" that emphasizes fellowship, conversation and interaction with the message of the day. It is specifically targeted at young adults- but anyone of any age is welcomed!

Join Us for Pastor's Bible Study

Resumes August 10

This Summer and Fall, our weekly Bible Study will supplement our recent studies in the New Testament Epistles as we consider “A Clash of Kingdoms".  This series will take us back to the first century as the church was just beginning to impact its culture.  For the early church, it was the difference between life and death. We will discover the passion and commitment early believers displayed as they claimed Jesus in the face of fierce consequences and powerfuladversairies.  This media based series was filmed on location at biblically significant sites and is led by historian and teacher Ray Vander Laan. Our schedule looks like this:

August 10- The Gospel of Caesar- A visit to  Philippi and Greece

August 17- The Believers- A visit to Philippi and Greece

August 24-The Powers of Darkness- A visit to Philippi, Delphi and Greece

August 31- The Philippian Jailer- A visit to Philippi and Greece

September 7- Confronting the Empire- A visit to Thessalonica
